What is a dmp file and how do I open a dmp file?
A DMP file contains data dumped from a program's memory space. They are often created when a program has an error or crashes. They may also be saved by the program "Savedump.exe" on the first reboot after a crash, when they are usually named "Memory.dmp". Windows memory dump files may be used for troubleshooting system errors and other problems.
