What is a m3u file and how do I open a m3u file?
An M3U, or Moving Picture Experts Group Audio Layer 3 Uniform Resource Locator file contains a playlist of MP3 and other audio or video files. The file lists the locations of media files in a plain text format. M3U playlists are generally used for audio but may also include references to video files. M3U files contains references to media files, but not the actual files themselves.
