What is a docm file and how do I open a docm file?
DOCM is a file extension used in Microsoft Word and created by Microsoft Corporation in its version of 2007 and 2010. It is the new document format introduced to users of the new Microsoft Word and also contains embedded macros that can be used with the file document. Macros can be represented by shortcuts to automate what users are making or doing in a document. It helps users to save time and eases the effort whenever they are creating a new document or editing one. Keyboard shortcuts are introduced to users who need other means of functionality and are key combinations each having various commands those users can execute in a document efficiently. A few examples of these macros are related to paste, cut, copy and save a document. DOCM use the format open XML based Word document and can be opened by other applications namely OpenOffice.org and Planamesa NeoOffice.
