What is a sfv file and how do I open a sfv file?
An SFV file stores plain text checksum data for a file, folder, or disk that indicates what data it contains. It can be used to check for corrupt files, missing files, or files of the wrong size. File verification is often used when copying a disk or burning a CD or DVD. It can also be used to verify files that have been downloaded from the Internet, and to find out if a file has been modified.
