What is a dpb file and how do I open a dpb file?
DataPilot backup files are created and saved in the DPB format by the DataPilot software, which was developed by Susteen as an application with integrated features for storing data from supported mobile phones connected or synched to a computer. Classified as backup files, these DPB files are appended with the .dpb extension, and the content of these DPB files usually includes SMS ( messages and phone book entry details saved by the user on his or her mobile phone and transferred to a computer with the DataPilot software. Images and other multimedia objects like audio and video clips in a supported mobile phone can also be saved in the DPB format and transferred to a computer using the DataPilot application. These DPB files can also be transferred from computers to connected mobile phones using the DataPilot program. Susteen developed versions of the DataPilot software for Mac and Microsoft Windows platforms, so users of these operating systems can install the DataPilot program to start opening and editing the content of these DPB files and to also transfer their mobile phone data to and from their Microsoft Windows and Mac computers. These DPB files can also be encrypted and protected with a unique, user-generated or program-generated password using the DataPilot software.
