What is a tk3 file and how do I open a tk3 file?

This file type is used by the TK3 software application available on Windows 95/98/ME/2000/XP and on Mac OS. TK3 files are compatible with multiple platforms, hence Windows created files can be opened on a Mac based computer.  The TK3 file may contain text or images. TK3 files can be used for photo albums or ebooks among other uses.  TK3 Reader software must be installed in order to read these files.  People wanting to create TK3 files must install TK3 Author software.  Some of the functions of TK3 files include the ability for users to highlight text and pen "stickies" to pages.
