What is a bdp file and how do I open a bdp file?
A BDP file is an Exchange Diagnostic Message created by Microsoft solely for the purpose of failed email messages that were not delivered to recipients. It is normally generated to an EML file in the Outlook Express Saved Mail Messages Files. BDP files are saved in a folder called Badmail together with .BAD and .BDR files. The software that deals with these emails is called Microsoft Exchange Server. It handles and manages mainly electronic emails, contacts, calendaring and tasks. This is also being supported by various email clients namely Apple Mail, Microsoft Outlook, Thunderbird, Android, Windows Mobile, iOS and Windows Phone. Normally, returned emails contain the name of the sender and email address, name of the recipient and email address, subject of the email and the email message. This is also accompanied by a simple explanation why the email was returned. One of the common reasons for undelivered and returned emails is the nonexistent of the email address mentioned or the email address has ceased to exist.
