SCN is a scenario file used by Age of Mythology, a real-time strategy game. It contains a campaign map with terrain, units, player starting locations, and victory conditions. SCN files store pre-installed and custom scenario content. They are found in the scenario folder within Age of Mythology installations. Custom scenarios can be built within the Age of Mythology scenario editor. Microsoft Age of Empires also uses SCN files.
