What is a skb file and how do I open a skb file?
An SKB file, or SketchUp Backup document file is a backup of a 3D model created with SketchUp, or SKP file. It is saved automatically by the auto-save feature, created as a backup in case the original file becomes corrupted or is accidentally deleted. SketchUp creates a backup file every time you successfully save your SketchUp file. This file is a complete copy of the previously saved version of the file. The backup file will use the naming convention "FILENAME.skb" for Windows and "FILENAME~.skp" on OS X, and it's stored in the same folder as the original file.
