What is an icf file and how do I open an icf file?
A Zoom router configuration file is a backup copy of the configurations and settings entered by the user of a Zoom network device, and these Zoom router configuration files are integrated with encoding specifications proprietary to Zoom Telephonics. These Zoom router configuration files are then stored in the ICF format and implemented with compression standards also proprietary to Zoom Telephonics and the network device before being affixed with the .icf extension. These Zoom network device configurations and settings can be entered and stored in the associated ICE file through the Web interface provided as the GUI (Graphical User Interface) of the Zoom network device's control panel, and the content of this ICE file can also be updated through this Web interface. This Web interface can only be accessed when the Zoom network device is properly connected to the computer and when the user provides the correct login credentials. These login credentials can also be changed and updated through this Web interface. Many text editors for Microsoft Windows-based systems and Mac platforms can be used to view the content of these ICF files.
