What is a daf file and how do I open a daf file?
Data files called Digital Anchor files are stored and encoded with specifications integrated into the DAF file format. These DAF files are appended with the .daf extension and are used by the Digital Anchor database management software. Telecompute Integrated Systems developed the DAF file format to be used by the Digital Anchor database management software to generate encrypted database files. The Digital Anchor database engine was also developed by Telecompute Integrated Systems as database management software integrated with compact and robust features for providing users with secure and convenient data storing, retrieving, importing and exporting capabilities. The content of these secure DAF files are encoded with binary and plain text specifications. Users of Microsoft Windows-based systems can install the Digital Anchor software to create, open and edit the content of these secure DAF files. Of course, before a user can gain access to an encrypted DAF file, the correct credentials should initially be entered into the Digital Anchor application to provide the user with corresponding privileges for opening, editing or deleting the content of these DAF files.
