What is a money file and how do I open a money file?
Files with the .money extension are also known as Money Data files. This file format was developed by Jumsoft and is associated to an Apple II application. The content of these .money files can be accessed through the Jumsoft Money software in Mac platforms. This software saves its data files in the following folder: /Library/Application Support/Jumsoft/Money/. This software provides support for data formatted in QIF, OFX, QFX and CSV formats. This application was first launched in 2003 and became widely popular among small businesses and home users of Mac systems. Users can easily make budget plans and monitor actual daily, weekly or monthly results. The Portfolio feature presents a table of a user's shares, a graph for a chosen security's quote history chart, fluctuations of Portfolio market values and Major World Indices' information. Handling scheduled transactions, printing checks and generating income/expense reports are also pleasantly simple with the Money software. The upgraded version uses full-featured OS X Lion support, improved iPhone synching functionalities and lesser bugs.
