What is a ntf file and how do I open a ntf file?
The NTF file extension is known as Lotus Note Template which was developed by IBM. It is a file format used by Lotus Notes, a business collaboration software program often used by large enterprises. It is used for storing custom Lotus Notes modules that can integrate into the larger Lotus Notes infrastructure. NTF files can contain forms, source code, and other design elements used by the application but not documents. Design elements include Actions, Agents, Columns, Fields, Forms, Subforms, Framesets, Outlines, Pages, and Views. User can create a template by creating an application with the file extension NTF or select the” Application is a template” property in Application Properties. Files in NTF format can be opened with IBM Lotus Notes in Microsoft Windows platforms. Though sometimes lotus notes may appear too business type, it can actually be personalized by using email stationery and can even be customized with graphics.
