Microsoft PowerPoint also supports use of different media object such as images, audio and video files, hyperlinks and other multimedia objects that can be arranged freely. It may also be presented live on a computer, and navigated through at the command of the presenter. The presentation made may also be printed for a hard copy. PPSM files include data on the as well as macros that are executed by PowerPoint. PPSM files are saved as the slide show itself and not as a PPT file, therefore, its content will not be editable even when opened through its authoring software. However, such files will prove efficient in the transferring of files from one system to another as it does not require the installment of PowerPoint and may be viewed through other presentation software.
