This file type is used as a template resulting in a generic format in which the user can customize. There are many varieties of templates.  Textease is a compilation of nine different programs - Publisher CT, Draw CT, Spreadsheet CT, Movies CT, Database CT, Paint CT, Presenter CT, Turtle CT, and Branch CT.
