format file flr

What is a flr file and how do I open a flr file?

The FLR file extension is used for a Flare Decompile ActionSript File and created by Flare Technology. It is a simple text format that is drawn from a flash document and saved with the same name by default. FLR files can be viewed by any text editor. Flare Technology is a computer hardware company in United Kingdom and founded in 1986. This company developed a technology-demonstrator called Flare One. Flare One has an extensive video and audio feature and was intended as a game console or normally termed as personal computer. It was later on used in arcade games with Flare One chipset evolving into the Konix Multisystem (Slipstream Prototype). Flash documents that carry FLR file extension are also identified with .SWF file or aptly known as Shock Wave Flash. Adobe Flash contain graphics both called vector and raster. Flash was originally created by Macromedia and later on was acquired by Adobe Systems which later on was called Adobe Flash.
